Do we really know that our e-waste is taken care of people who dosen’t have any equipment and gloves? And that they have to work there because they don’t have money to buy food and to send their children to school. And then they got many sorts of cancer and other decisis. And they can’t afford to go to the hospital or the medical center.
I think that is against human rights, and I can’t belive that the big company’s are making millions and billions to give people this jobs, without sometimes even pay money to them. So people wake up! Do we really need the brand new mobile phone or the brand new computer,
only because we just have to have a new one? But this isu isn’t only because we buy, it is also because companies most have a safe enviorment in their policy’s and they most take care of the dangerous chemicals who are in this products. The can’t let anyone to take care of their dirty job. Their rich companies who lives on this most stop shipping the waste to the poor countries. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! (By www.greenpeace.com)
And I also recommend you to watch this video made by 60 Minutes. Scott Pelley shows us where our society’s electronic refuse ends up!

If we all people like to buy things because it has a luxury label on, is it beacuse so we can show everyone that we can afford this label, or is it so we can feel that we are somebody with this label. Let me first start with some facts about the polar bear, if you didnt already know that.
Common Name:Polar bear Ours blanc; ours polaire (Fr); Oso polar (Sp)
Scientific Name: Ursus maritimus
Habitat: Arctic
Location: Arctic (northern hemisphere)
Polar bears are the top predator in the arctic marine ecosystem and the largest terrestrial carnivore. The polar bear’s coat, covering it completely except for the nose and foot pads, is superbly adapted to Arctic environments. Along with a thick layer of body fat, the water-repellent coat insulates the bear from cold air and water. Polar bears are excellent swimmers. Adult males typically measure 6.5 to 8 feet from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail and weigh 880-1300 lbs. Females are about half this size. The bear’s body and neck are elongated, and the head is narrow and long with small, rounded ears. Polar bears hunt ringed and bearded seals on the sea ice throughout the year.
Why is this species important?
Of all of the wildlife species in the Arctic, the polar bear is perhaps the most fitting icon for this eco region. Its amazing adaptations to life in the harsh Arctic environment and dependence on sea ice make them so impressive, and yet so vulnerable. Large carnivores are sensitive indicators of ecosystem health. Polar bears are studied to gain an understanding of what is happening throughout the Arctic as a polar bear at risk is often a sign of something wrong somewhere in the arctic marine ecosystem. by www.wildlife.org
But what is happening right now it is that the ice is melting and the polar bear species are dieing. This is breaking my heart. Maybe tomorrow they will be gone. I hope not. Please save the polar bear!

Are we material people? Is this century only about to go shopping for things we need are want to have. Two different things in my opinion. Because before we created this world for shopping, we only bought things to survive… except for people with money or so called ”rich people” who always have the best things and created more things to the normal human been to dream about or spend the money on. Is this necessary? Well i don’t think so.
Please listen to what Annie Leonard has to say and then think about it.
Here comes the video, listen and learn.

Hello everybody,
I am a girl from Sweden who are studying and working and like to spending time with my family and friends who are so important to me. The best place for me in the entire world is the ocean. I just love it, really my favourite place. And that was a little information about me. Because this blog will not be about me, it would be about things that I think it is important right now. So I really don’t know why I begin writing on this blog today, beacuse I have always been the follower or the lazy one.. by thinking the problems will be solved by others. What a waste of expression from my persona, who I know I’m the caring one, who love animals and love the planet I live on. So maybe I decided by hearing the news all the time about they go on and on and on about the climate change and how we should live green and so on. To spread the word, and that is important what we all need to take in, and it doesn’t matter what religion we have or political view. You can’t do everything. The important is that you try to do something. To not throw away garbage in the ocean or in the street. Or you maybe shop organic food or cloths sometimes. That it is something. Well, Iam still in the learning process. But it is great to learn, don’t you?
And my first step to do something it would be to RECOGNIZE that we do have a climate problems and try to do something about it. The information is the key.
”To reduce your environmental footprint”
Some of you would not like what I will write in this blog. And some of you maybe will like it. Well, what can I say….. this is my journal and I will write what I think is best for me.
Take care
